Cayla Embry

Cayla Embry serves as the Director of Project Development & is the Executive Assistant to Dr. Kuroski-Mazzei, HopeWay’s CEO & Chief Medical Officer. Cayla oversees a multitude of responsibilities including oversight of the Wellness Clinic, collaboration with the Medical Team and Director of Nursing, managing the physicians’ schedules and assisting with Board meetings.

Cayla Embry serves as the Director of Project Development & is the Executive Assistant to Dr. Kuroski-Mazzei, HopeWay’s CEO & Chief Medical Officer. Cayla oversees a multitude of responsibilities including oversight of the Wellness Clinic, collaboration with the Medical Team and Director of Nursing, managing the physicians’ schedules and assisting with Board meetings. She also is responsible for managing new projects as they arise, specifically the addition of the outpatient practice, HopeWay Psychiatry & Associates, in 2020 and the new day programs for teen mental health and teen and young adult eating disorder treatment in 2024.

Cayla joined the team in 2016 and has served in various roles from Administrative Assistant to Executive Assistant and Practice Manager. Her ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and her deep passion to HopeWay’s mission is an invaluable asset to the team.

Cayla graduated from Appalachian State University with a BS in Psychology. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and cheering on the Mountaineers.
