Introducing Bobbie Mabe, Horticultural Therapist

HopeWay is thrilled to welcome Bobbie Mabe as our horticultural therapist. In her role, Bobbie designs and leads horticultural programming that supports the specific goals of our clients.  She is enjoying utilizing the wonderful resources at HopeWay, such as the raised garden beds and greenhouse. 

Bobbie holds a Masters in Professional Counseling from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and is certified in Horticultural Therapy from the Horticultural Therapy Institute. She is the owner of Growth Through Gardening, a horticultural therapy consulting business through which she has designed and implemented a variety of horticultural programs around Charlotte.  Bobbie brings years of expertise with her from past clients she has served, including Aldersgate Continuing Care Retirement Community, the Charlotte Jewish Preschool, and Garinger High School.
